ISERN Medical Telecom, first company of certified quality under the International Standard ISO 9001 for the entertainment of patients in hospitals
ISERN Medical Telecom is widely recognized in the medical sector as a guarantee of quality in the provided services, for both users (patients and professionals) and customers (hospitals). The quality level achieved has allowed ISERN to be the first company in Spain to have a Quality Management System for the services of television and telecommunication in hospitals, based on the International Standard UNE-EN ISO 9001:2008, and certified by the German certification company TÜV Rheinland Ibérica Inspection, Certification & Testing, S.A., with ID 915075059. The implementation of the Quality Management System has been motivated by the will of satisfying the costumer’s expectations and to improve continuously. ISERN has developed the implantation of the QMS during 2013 with the support of the responsible of all the departments of the company, allowing the requirements of the international standard to be highly adapted to the real needs of the company. “It has been easy –points Gisela Gallego, Quality Manager of the company– because in ISERN we were already working following strict rules to guarantee the quality of our services. The implementation process we have performed has been based on the adaptation of the existing quality rules in ISERN to those required by the International Standard ISO 9001, a goal that we have achieved only four months after the start of the project”.
