ISERN Medical Telecom has recently completed the installation of new large-format multimedia terminals, IS31 model with 21.5-inch screens, at Álvaro Cunqueiro Hospital in Vigo, which has a capacity of 1,465 beds. This next-generation technology consists of touch multimedia devices designed to optimise both professional care and the experience of patients and their relatives.

To start with, the kitchen system has been integrated, which makes it possible to personalise menus for each patient. Thanks to this technology, patients can view on their terminals their name and the menu assigned to them, adapted to their specific dietary needs according to their condition. The system takes intolerances, allergies and other dietary restrictions into account, ensuring that patients can choose the menu they prefer within the established parameters. The IS31 terminals include a video call function with loved ones, helping to maintain an emotional connection during hospital stays and preventing patients from feeling lonely if they cannot receive visitors.
