The new Hospital 12 de Octubre in Madrid installs the latest multi-screen technology from ISERN Medical

The new 12 de Octubre, one of the largest newly built hospitals in Spain, has been equipped with the latest ISERN technology for the digitalization of rooms.

ISERN Medical has recently equipped the more than 700 rooms of the new centre with 43" IPTV screens. These monitors, distributed in spacious, bright and comfortable rooms, allow advanced access to entertainment content for patients and family members, which improves their recovery during their stay at the centre.

The multi-screen solution consists of an Alexia Entertainment® software platform, professional ISERN monitors manufactured especially for healthcare environments and the H+SmartRoom application, which allows connectivity with personal devices, both for patients and their companions.

The solution allows users to control the screens from their own devices, receive messages, information and view specific content individualised for each patient. All of this contributes to the development of the hospital's digitalisation plans.

At the infrastructure level, the new hospital has a structured cabling IP network in all rooms, up to each screen. The installation has been carried out quickly, without producing any impact on healthcare activity, thanks to the fact that it was carried out before transferring the patients from the old hospital.

With the complete renovation of its hospitalization areas, the new 12 de Octubre reinforces its commitment to patient comfort and well-being, thanks to innovations such as ISERN Medical technology.
