ISERN has been the awarded company in the INNOVACAT 2010 present edition, for it’s IDeTICs project: “Research and Development unit of the Information and Communication Technologies applied to Health”. This Unit will be the first in spain, exclusively dedicated to these specialities.

The creation of this research unit, which has an initial budget of 2.181.156 €, guarantees constant innovation in the company’s products and maintenance of ISERN’s leadership in the market in the coming years.

IDeTICs will be physically placed inside a new corporative building,which is in the process of construction and will be finished before the end of the year.

This award has has been conceded in the Category “Empresa Avança”, economically the most important one (20.000,00 €), in recognition of the trajectory of the company and it’s innovative capacity.

More than 100 hospitals and health centers have been adapted to DTT by ISERN before the “analogical blackout”

More than 100 hospitals and health centers throughout Spain have been adapted to Digital Terrestrial Television by ISERN. Scheduled updates have been made with at least 60 days before the date scheduled for each of the three phases of the called “analogical blackout”.

For adaptations, most centers opted for the equipment replacement by the current LCD flat screen TVs with built-in TDT tuner. Previously it is necessary to update the antenna header equipments by adding the appropriate amplifier modules and checking the network by measuring the signals quality at the each floor extreme. And proceed to its sanitation if required.

In centers where TVs haven’t been replaced because they are relatively new, it’s necessary to take action in higher-level antenna header involving the installation of a signal transmodulator for each current channel. These transmodulators convert DTT signal to analogical in this way we evade the TV substitution or install TDT tuner for each TV.

For the current legislation fulfillment we inform: ISERN companies have been restructured for optimizing fiscal cost. The Holding Company ISALIA ACTIUS,SL owns the 100% company capital for this reason it becomes one-person company. Adding "U" in the name it indicates such circumstances.

The Murcian Health Service has awarded all bidding batches to ISERN for "The exploitation of TV service of various hospitals of the Murcian Health Service". ISERN has obtained the best score in all batches due to his experience and technical reliability.

This contract includes the TV Services provision in the following hospitals: Murcia’s Morales Meseguer Hospital, Lorca’s Rafael Mendez Hospital, Caravaca's Cormarcal del Noroeste Hospital and Cieza's Fundación Hospital.

ISERN has made all the hospitals facilities in record time due to the DTT implementation, known as the "analogical blackout" occurred in Murcia region on June 30th.

The Andalusian Service of Health awarded the TV and Telephony Service exploitation of the Reina Sofia University Hospital of Córdoba to ISERN, one of the biggest Hospital in Spain.

The 15 years contract includes the necessary implementation investments of his TV and telephony system under ISERN responsability, as well as the all wired up and infrastructure facilities realization for the five buildings services provision which belong the Reina Sofía Hospitable Complex: General Hospital, Materno-Infantil Hospital, External Consultings Building, Provincial Hospital and Los Morales Hospital.

605 last generation TVs with 22" panoramic flat screens have been installed by ISERN, 42 of them have DVD incorporated for the pediatrics zones and 1.124 telephones for the hospitalization rooms. Big format flat screens also have been installed into common zones like Halls, waiting rooms, UCI, etc...

ISERN has released onto the market a new model of TV for hospitals with flat screen 22 inches, DTV and DVD reproducer integrated. This new model of Televison has been specialy designed for the pediatry wards in Hospitals. It has capacity to reproduce the most important formats of DVD and also Dvix, mp3 and Audio Cd’s like songs, children stories, etc… With this innovation ISERN goes ahead again with his leading position.
